CASE ZUCCHI GUEST ROOMS
To grow and live in the countryside means learning to recognize scents and colors characteristic of cultivated fields, of the vegetables and cereals that grow there. In the same fields wild herbs grow, they are becoming increasingly rare due to the big quantities of herbicides used in agriculture.
To follow the natural course of rural life is the desire that inspired us for opening Case Zucchi and we have never abandoned it. The fields that surround our Agriturismo are cultivated without any use of chemical herbicides, a choice that allows us offering organic products and preserves the whole wild flora.
We decided to give to wild and spontaneous herbs, that represent for us the genuineness of Case Zucchi, a place of honor. The nine guest rooms aren’t just identified by simple numbers, we used instead the first letters of nine herbs typical of our area: Iris (Irises), Sambuco (Elderberry), Malva (Mallow), Papavero (Poppy), Fiordaliso (Cornflower), Bardana (Burdock), Echinacea (Coneflower), Cicoria (Chicory) and Tarassaco (Dandelion).
REST WITH COMFORT
All rooms are furnished with care, with unique restored furniture.
All rooms have private bathroom with hairdryer, independent air conditioning, electric strongbox, free and unlimited wi-fi.
The familiar dimension of Case Zucchi makes us ready to help carefully our guests with children. We do provide high chairs and changing tables and there is the possibility to add, upon request, additional beds and/or cots in the rooms.
At the ground floor are located the two standard double rooms, Iris and Sambuco, one of them is completely pursuant to host people with disabilities. The superior double rooms Echinacea, Fiordaliso and Bardana, the family rooms Tarassaco and Cicoria, the suites Malva and Papavero, they are all located at first floor.
The two suites, like the family rooms, are equipped with private mini refrigerator. The suites are the largest rooms of the Agriturismo, as they measure 40 square meters each. They do include a living room and an external balcony. Malva’s balcony is an actual one, while Papavero’s balcony is an external space surrounded and covered by the roof pitch.
